You've
recently found out about Otherkin and been introduced to the new
ideas that really don't feel so new to you. Your associations with
how you regard those around you may be subject to change, depending
on the support you find. Everything we do in this world can be exceedingly
easy or difficult depending on who we have around us. For some awakened
otherkin, the realization of their spirits not being human can send
them into a state of arrogancy towards human spirits, causing the
awakened kin to feel as though others are inferior; yes this often
times leads to a serious superiority complex.
This
doesn't always happen to otherkin who have awakened. Some actually
regard all those around them, others that are 'kin and human, in
as equal a light as possible. I suppose it would have a lot to do
with the kind of support one gets from others regarding their own
otherkin'ness and how they are influenced by those who've previously
crossed the thresholds of awakening, before them.
As
mentioned two weeks prior, the awakening process (we'll cover more
in depth next time) covers a lot of important elements that would
be much more difficult than could be without the assistance of others
who have crossed the thresholds before us. It can be especially
trying on a subject when they find that they're without support
from others of their specific 'kin. While interaction between two
different races is supportive in a developmental right, its much
easier for a Demon 'kin to get through the awakening with other
Demon 'kin giving them support than that of a Faerie 'kin. Its because
they understand each other best, and are better able to assist each
other with the pressing troubles of the awakening.
Next
time, more about the awakening of an Otherkin.
